Greenheart Creative is passionate about the wellbeing of our community and our planet. GHC was the heart-child of a seven-month service project across South America, the Gaian Path Project, creating documentary films for grassroots organizations. Experiencing service as the most direct, beneficial, and humbling work one can engage in, we decided to create a livelihood in which we can generate abundance while also sustainably giving back to our local and global community.
Therefore, as Greenheart Creative evolves as a conscious and compassionate business, we choose several projects each year to donate our services to in partnership with community organizations.
Amala Foundation
The Amala foundation unites people of all ages and from all communities to experience life from a heart centered, global perspective. From a community center and spiritual sanctuary, to hosting youth projects for local, international, refugee, and immigrant youth, they truly are a holistic, multifaceted organization. I am fully indebted to the Amala Foundation for the growth and healing I’ve experienced from being a member of this community, especially during the past four months working on this piece.
Because the organization is so expansive, it really was a puzzle figuring out how to best capture the essence of the organization in just two minutes. The process was beautiful and transformational. The film itself took on a life of it’s own as I integrated the community members own spoken truth.
Again, I feel so much gratitude to the Amala Foundation for their unconditional love, and generosity.
Med Mob
2011 was a big year for mass meditation gatherings! We partnered with MedMob.org and made them a series of videos that helped facilitate its rapid growth across the globe in a matter of months. But it all began in Austin, Texas inside the Texas State Capital Building of all places! Will government officials kick out a group of yogis for chanting Om?? Check it out. Super inspiring!
