Just minutes ago, I was riding a motorcycle through the beautiful green mountains of Vermont as the sunset melted into twilight. The feeling in the moment seemed like it would cement into my memory forever. As I took this maiden voyage (I’ve never actually operated a motorcycle before), brief lapses in focused attention to the road led me to thoughts of the Explosions in the Sky Music Video I helped shoot. It’s a poignant montage of 1950s kodak moments created by an insanely talented group of collaborators early this year. I was behind the lens of one of the two Red Epic cameras capturing stunning 300 frames per second HD footage. Please take a moment to stop everything and sink into this mini-masterpiece that I’m very proud to have worked on. Kudos to all those involved!
